HOW TO REQUEST DELETION
Send an email to support@senymaritime.com with:
Subject: Account deletion request
Body: "Please delete my OceanlinkX account."
(include the email address you used to sign in)
Send the request from the same email address you used to register —
this is how we verify it's really you. If that mailbox is no longer
accessible, contact us anyway and we will arrange another way to
verify your identity.
We confirm receipt within 1 business day and complete the deletion
within 30 days of verification.
WHAT IS DELETED
The following is permanently deleted:
• Your account profile (email, hashed password, display name, role)
• Your subscription and addon records
• All routers you adopted (router IDs, names, models, auth tokens)
• All router state snapshots — daily and monthly
• Audit log entries containing your personal identifiers
• Push notification tokens
• Crash logs linked to your account
WHAT IS RETAINED (and why)
A small amount of data may be kept for a limited time:
• Billing records (invoices / receipts) — kept up to 7 years for
tax compliance, as required by applicable law
• Anonymised crash data with no link back to your identity —
retained indefinitely for product improvement
• Backups containing your data — automatically purged within
90 days of deletion
PARTIAL DELETION (without deleting the account)
If you want to keep your account but delete specific data, email
support@senymaritime.com and tell us what to remove. For example:
• Delete all router snapshots (cloud history)
• Delete a specific router and its history
• Cancel an addon (data kept until expiry, then deleted)
LOCAL DATA ON YOUR DEVICE
OceanlinkX also stores data locally on your phone (router credentials,
hotspot users cache, manual reports). To delete this locally, either:
• Uninstall the app — Android wipes all local SQLite data automatically
• OR open the app, Settings → About → "Clear local data" (if available)
Local data is never sent to us unless you enabled the Remote Access
addon, so no separate cloud-side request is needed for it.
